ABOUT
Abstract Painting is a very personal journey; I believe what needs to come out emotionally shows up consciously or subconsciously. This pure form of expression gives me a place to play with the elements I love... color, mark making, light and texture. My work is a spontaneous and reactive process starting with a loose idea and moving in present time laying down brush strokes, intuitive marks and color themes; each mark and brush stroke leads to the next intuitive expression. Dark and light are a reoccurring theme in my work, showing the depth, tension and diversity that often reflects our complex lives.
